AN OVERVIEW OF GOD’S PLAN REVEALED IN SCRIPTURE

Introducing the only true God

The Father and the Son

God the Father is not “Old Man Time” with a long beard as sometimes portrayed by human artists. His Son is not a long-haired meek and mild all suffering wimp who just accepts us as we are. These images are only what Satan would have us believe of the two most awesomely powerful Spirit Persons that exist.

Moses, Ezekiel the prophet and John the apostle were each allowed a glimpse of what God is really like – and they fell flat on their faces in terror and awe. There is absolutely nothing wishy-washy about God’s Son. Yeshua demonstrated wonderful kindness and generosity to anyone willing to believe and obey Him. He is still that way today. He knows how weak we are and yet he still showers kindness on us – continuing to forgive our sins and encouraging us to do better.

Kindness and generosity are not weakness. God wants every one of us to succeed and achieve everything that he has planned for us. He wants to fill our lives with his rich gifts. However, if you have been called as a Christian, you have to learn to play by his rules. If you drift away or reject him, then you must expect to be corrected – severely if it is needed to get your attention. If you refuse to respond, there is only one outcome – death with no possibility of rescue or a second chance.

God is both wonderfully kind and terribly severe. He is not someone to mess with.

Yeshua was God the Father’s representative throughout the Old Testament. He created us and the world we live in. He commissioned Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, gave them the Ten Commandments as part of the Old Covenant law, and then punished them when they refused to obey.  Even though he was, and still is, the Son of God, he has always commanded that we worship and obey the only one true God – his Father.

He was also willing to put aside his glorious position as God’s Son to be born as a human baby, and to suffer and die a terrible death so that our sins could be forgiven and we could be reunited with his Father.

The Father is greater in knowledge and power than Yeshua. He is the Supreme Head of everything. Yeshua refers to his Father as his God and completely focuses his life on doing everything as directed by his Father. Yeshua created the angels in the spirit world before creating our physical universe. He created Adam and Eve in the garden that he designed and created – all as directed by his Father.

Yeshua is still directing the affairs of men and his church, guiding everything to be ready for his final return. Nothing escapes his attention. Everything is directed towards achieving his ultimate goal of building his planned Kingdom.

Yeshua was the name given to him by his Father. Jesus comes from the Greek for Yeshua, and is now associated with the corrupted message of many false messiahs that use his name. I have used his Hebrew name to clearly distinguish between the true Messiah and the false one taught in today’s churches.

The Holy Spirit

God the Father and Yeshua are two distinct persons with Spirit bodies. The Holy Spirit, by contrast is a separate person who exists throughout the universe. He is the spirit power that takes root and lives within us and binds together all the members of God’s Family. He was used by Yeshua to rebuild the world after Lucifer’s rebellion. He is the ultimate scribe, recording everything that happens.

He is not a blind force, but rather an awesomely intelligent person who is unlike anything or anyone that we can relate to in our limited human experience.

The Trinity Doctrine versus God’s Family

One of the key doctrines shared by most Christian churches today is that God is a Trinity of three equal ‘persons’ that are somehow the same person. That there is only one God, but he can manifest himself in three different ways.

There is no evidence for this in the Bible and it was not formally introduced into Christian doctrine until the council of Nicea in 325 AD. It is a particularly dangerous doctrine because it implies that God is a single unchangeable combination of three persons who have always existed and is not a family that can grow in numbers.  It is a doctrine that effectively hides the true purpose of God’s Plan from us.

God’s Plan for extending his Family is why we are here. Everyone who is called by God, who accepts Yeshua as the Son of God, and the sacrifice that he made for us to be reunited with our Father, and who then use the power of God’s Holy Spirit to live a life of overcoming Satan and their own human nature, will be born as a glorious Spirit Being into God’s Family when Yeshua the Messiah returns.

That was the Good News of the Kingdom of God that Yeshua brought.

More about God

Another fallacy is that God is someone who just sits on a throne in heaven and makes things happen instantaneously just by saying the word. The members of God’s Family are glorious and powerful, far beyond anything that we can imagine. However, Yeshua described his Father as a person who works. He admired his Father and learned how to do everything by copying Him. On returning to his Father after being raised from the dead, Yeshua said that he would go to prepare homes for his disciples so that they would be ready when he returned to get them.

Imagine the planning that went into designing and creating the physical universe as well as all the life on earth. We don’t know how long this took, but it is likely that it was a huge project and that a very long time was spent planning all the details before the final act of creation.

Read the first chapter of the book of Ezekiel to get an idea of just some of the things that God designs and creates in the spirit world.

God’s Family is awesome and exciting. We can be part of it. Yeshua loves us and has dedicated himself to helping us to succeed. He is also our judge who will punish us if we set our minds to reject the amazing future that he is offering us.
